FAQs
Outdoor infrared saunas require a dedicated 120V circuit. The wire size will depend on the amperage of the outdoor sauna which can be found in the operating manual. Outdoor saunas are equipped with a power cord only. The customer is responsible for attaching the correct plug to the sauna cord based on the amperage requirement.
Your outdoor sauna operating temperature is up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Please note that extreme cold temperatures may affect the time it takes for the sauna to reach maximum temperature. We do not recommend using the sauna in extreme cold weather (less than 0 degrees Fahrenheit).
Installing additional insulation in your outdoor sauna ceiling is not required. However, you may choose to add insulation to your outdoor sauna to help the sauna retain heat during periods of extreme weather.
Our outdoor infrared saunas have a waterproof coating applied to the cabin to resist moisture. We recommend applying a new waterproof coating to the exterior of the sauna cabin annually or as needed to ensure the sauna cabin remains water resistant.
We recommend using a sturdy base as the foundation for your outdoor sauna cabin. Ensure the sauna cabin foundation is solid and level to provide a secure base. We recommend using a waterproof vapor barrier between the bottom of your sauna and the sauna foundation so that moisture does not penetrate the bottom of the sauna.
There are no restrictions on using an outdoor sauna inside the home. Please keep in mind that outdoor saunas have a shingled roof and are taller than indoor saunas so they may not fit in all interior rooms.
All outdoor saunas are shipped via truck freight with curbside delivery and lift-gate service included unless otherwise specified. Outdoor saunas are shipped on a wooden pallet with removable bracing to protect the sauna boxes. Please contact us if you have special requirements for delivery. The trucking company will call you to schedule a delivery appointment.
All outdoor infrared saunas carry a 7-year structural warranty and 1-year parts warranty. We recommend re-sealing your outdoor sauna cabin annually with water proof sealant to continually protect it against the elements. All sauna parts including electronic parts and heater panels are guaranteed for 1-year against defects.
Outdoor infrared saunas are easily assembled by two adults. The typical assembly time is 1-2 hours. No special tools are required for sauna assembly however you will need a ladder or step stool to reach the sauna roof to apply the shingle sections. You will also need a drill and phillips head screw driver to attach the roof sections.
We allow returns of non-clearance outdoor saunas within 90 days of receipt of purchase if the sauna is in new and re-sellable condition. The original and return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Saunas that are returned with damage or are not in new and re-sellable condition will incur a 15% inspection and restock fee.
The interior of your outdoor sauna cabin should be cleaned every 2-3 months or more depending on usage. To clean the interior of your sauna, use a mixture of baking soda and water (3 teaspoons baking soda to 1 gallon of warm water). Using a clean towel, wipe down the interior of the sauna focusing on where sweat accumulates. Let the area dry with the sauna door open. Use a standard ammonia-based glass cleaner to clean the sauna doors and windows.

Q: Hello! Quick question - what if I want to get the sauna hotter than 140? Does that require a different, stronger heater and/or additional insulation on the roof to retain heat? Appreciate your help!

Hello! Quick question - what if I want to get the sauna hotter than 140? Does that require a different, stronger heater and/or additional insulation on the roof to retain heat? Appreciate your help!

A: Hello, Our infrared saunas reach a maximum heat of 140 degrees Farenheit. The keypad does not allow you to go higher. Only traditional saunas go over the 140 degrees however we have had some customers add an external heater to the cabin for more heat (e.g. space heater)
