I received the sauna after Christmas and picked up (300lb) in two boxes. There was a small crack in the bench seat, all else was fantastic. I have had a couple dilemmas before purchasing. (1) most I have read is that it will not heat up outside (2) cedar is not the recommended choice of wood (3) the exterior finish if any on wood. I am placing it on an outside patio that is covered. I placed the unit on concrete steppers on the concrete, so that when washing the patio I do not puddle water underneath. I put the unit together which was very easy and fit well. I found the outside wood is finished ( I presume with spar varnish). After using the unit in 60-65 degree weather outside, the unit has reached 140 degrees in approximately 30-40 minutes.
Good for the money, max temp 140 degrees. Takes maybe 20-25 min to reach full temp. I assembled myself but would have been easier with 2. 20-30 min in it you can really get a good sweat going.
Have had my suana for little over 3 months now, see a difference in my blood pressure and achy, stiff joints. So easy to maintain, heats super quick. Love the bluetooth capability.
Only reason 4 star was missing handle upon receiving and putting together. Was able to use without until received handle so really was not big issue. Love it, very comfortable
