Overview
About the Aurora 2-4 Person Traditional Wet/Dry Barrel sauna
Experience the perfect blend of traditional Finnish sauna bathing and timeless outdoor craftsmanship with the Aurora 2–4 Person Traditional Barrel Sauna. Beautifully constructed from premium Western Red Cedar, the Aurora creates an inviting backyard retreat where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy the soothing warmth of an authentic sauna experience. Its distinctive barrel-shaped design and compact 5-foot by 6-foot footprint make it an ideal addition to patios, decks, and outdoor living spaces, offering generous seating without requiring excessive space.
Powered by a premium 6.0 kW Harvia electric heater, the Aurora delivers powerful, consistent heat with temperatures reaching up to 170°F. The included wooden bucket and ladle allow you to pour water over the heated sauna stones, creating soothing bursts of steam and allowing you to personalize the humidity for an authentic Finnish-style wet or dry sauna experience. A convenient built-in delay timer lets you schedule your sauna session up to eight hours in advance.
Expertly crafted from solid Western Red Cedar, the Aurora features sturdy 1⅜-inch-thick lumber, precision ball-and-socket construction, and durable stainless steel hardware. Its traditional barrel shape encourages natural heat circulation, while opposing interior benches comfortably accommodate two to four adults or provide additional room to stretch out during a peaceful solo session. Weather-resistant support cradles, a protective shingled roof, and an included flat floor kit enhance durability and comfort for outdoor installation.
Thoughtful amenities enhance every sauna experience, including interior dome lighting that creates a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Ergonomic backrests provide additional support, while a traditional sand timer and thermo-hygrometer allow you to monitor your sauna sessions with ease. A tempered glass door adds an elegant finishing touch while welcoming natural light into the interior.
Designed for convenient installation, the Aurora features easy-to-assemble construction and operates on a dedicated 220–240V, 30-amp electrical circuit. Exactly as described
Assembly took two of us about an hour with a screwdriver, just like they said. Heats up fast and the cedar smells incredible. Freight delivery was smooth.
Best purchase for recovery
I use it almost every day after training. The low-EMF was a big deal for me and the carbon panels heat evenly. Worth every penny.
Great value vs the boutique brands
Shopped Sunlighten and Sun Home first. This was thousands less for genuinely comparable quality. Docked one star only because I wanted more color options.
The real Finnish experience
The Harvia heater makes all the difference — pour water on the stones and it's exactly like the saunas I grew up with. Support answered the phone in Richmond.
